Work
Systems, insight, and practical change.
I work at the point where operational complexity, decision-making, automation, and product-minded thinking overlap. The consistent thread is simple: turn messy information, awkward workflows, and unclear operating problems into something more usable, more trusted, and more effective.
Most of the work I do best involves bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to environments that have grown complex faster than their systems have.
Strengths
What I do best
Building trust in numbers
I’m strongest where reporting needs to become more consistent, more credible, and more useful — especially when different teams need one workable version of truth.
Improving operational flow
I like solving repeated friction: manual work, unclear ownership, fragmented processes, awkward handoffs, and reporting that creates more effort than insight.
Designing practical automation
I use automation and AI where they genuinely improve delivery, speed, or quality — not as theatre, but as leverage.
Bridging strategy and execution
I tend to work well in the gap between big-picture intent and day-to-day delivery, where the challenge is making the thing actually work in practice.
Capabilities
Capability areas
Business intelligence and decision support
Shaping reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and analysis so leaders can make clearer decisions with less noise.
Automation and process improvement
Reducing manual effort, improving repeatability, and designing more sustainable ways of working across teams and systems.
Cross-functional delivery
Working across operations, finance, and technology to align definitions, outputs, and priorities where complexity would otherwise create drag.
Practical AI and modern tooling
Using AI and modern build tools across ideation, analysis, planning, development, and review — always in service of a better output.
Proof
Selected proof
A mix of live products, working concepts, and public-facing builds that show how I think \u2014 not just what I can ship.
Match Tally
A live utility product shaped around a real operational need, faster workflows, and a tighter mobile-first experience.
UK Shortlists
A structured publishing project built around clearer decision support and more useful content design.
Digital Shed
A product concept exploring calmer information consumption, configurable structure, and better signal selection.
Workout Planner
A live training utility built around better defaults, adaptive sessions, and repeated real-world use.
Process
How I work
My default approach is pragmatic: clarify the problem, simplify where possible, structure the work properly, then improve what matters. I favour solutions that are reliable in practice, not just persuasive in a presentation. I tend to do best in environments where complexity is real, expectations are high, and someone needs to connect the dots between insight, systems, and delivery.
Fit
Good fit / not a fit
Good fit
- Scaling organisations with growing operational complexity
- Reporting or KPI environments that need clearer structure
- Teams trying to reduce manual work and improve flow
- Product or internal-tool ideas that need shaping into something usable
- Roles or projects that sit across strategy, operations, and execution
Not a fit
- Work that is mostly presentation and very little substance
- Complexity added for its own sake
- Performative innovation without operational reality
- Environments where nobody actually wants to improve the process underneath the problem
Conversations
Open to useful conversations
I'm open to interesting roles, strategic conversations, advisory-style work, and practical collaborations where the challenge is real and the work has a point.
Start with a sensible conversation
If there is a useful problem, a role worth discussing, or a system that needs the right shape, there is a direct way to reach me.
