Workout Planner
A practical workout planning app built around clearer daily sessions, useful modifiers, and synced training history.

Overview
Workout Planner is a mobile-first training app designed to make daily workout decisions simpler and more usable. It combines a seeded workout structure with synced preferences, adaptable session modifiers, and exercise-level feedback so the plan can become more personal over time without becoming complicated.
Why I built it
The starting point was straightforward: I wanted a better version of a workout workflow I was already using. The problem was not lack of training ideas; it was friction. I wanted something that could show today's session clearly, adapt sensibly when needed, and retain enough history and preference data to become more useful over time.
What it does
- Shows a clear daily workout based on a structured weekly split
- Supports useful session modifiers such as full session, short on time, and low energy
- Includes a searchable exercise library
- Lets users like or dislike exercises so future sessions adapt
- Stores preferences, sessions, and history through synced user data
- Keeps the experience narrow, calm, and practical
Product / workflow choices
Mobile-first utility
The app is designed to be opened quickly, understood immediately, and used without needing a desktop mindset.
Strong defaults
Seeded structure, sensible templates, and practical exercise data do most of the heavy lifting before any fine-tuning begins.
Adaptive without drama
Exercise preferences and session modifiers improve future workouts without turning the app into a black box.
Narrow product scope
It focuses on planning, adapting, and tracking workouts well rather than trying to become an all-in-one fitness platform.
Screens from the product

What made it good enough to go live
- the core daily workflow is usable
- synced preferences and history make it persistent across sessions
- exercise depth and modifiers make the plan more adaptive
- the interface feels calm and practical rather than overloaded
- it works as a real product, not just a concept screen
What I'd improve next
- progression and history depth
- smarter weekly rollover and replanning
- deeper modifier logic
- more refined exercise feedback and recommendation behaviour
